Other DCR Beaches: Revere Beach
The nation's first public beach

The Department of Conservation and Recreation also maintains a number of other beaches in the metropolitan Boston area. Revere Beach, for example, located just north of Winthrop, recently received a major beach renourishment in addition to the restoration of its historic shelters and bandstand. Restorations and improvements at Nantasket Beach in Hull have helped to make this beach once again a popular destination.

Revere Beach Access:
Limited parking available along the street.
The beach is also accessible by taking the MBTA Blue Line to Revere Beach or Wonderland Stations. Cross the street to the beach.
